🌟 Look What We Accomplished This Summer! 🌟

While our students were enjoying their summer break, your South Anna Elementary PTA has been hard at work making incredible improvements to our school! We're excited to share all the amazing upgrades that will greet our students when they return:

🪑 Refreshed Outdoor Learning & Recreation Spaces

• ✅ 2 Brand New Buddy Benches - Creating more opportunities for friendship and inclusion on our playground
• ✅ 2 ADA-Compliant Picnic Tables - Ensuring all students can enjoy outdoor learning and meals together
• ✅ 7 Additional Picnic Tables - Expanding our outdoor classroom and lunch space capacity
• ✅ Protective Umbrellas - Added shade coverage for our lunch tables to keep students comfortable year-round

🎭 Stage & Safety Improvements

• ✅ Stage Renovation - Our outdoor stage now features brand new railings and steps for safe student performances and activities
• ✅ Existing Bench Repairs - Restored and reinforced seating areas throughout the campus

⚾ Ball Field Safety Upgrades

✅ Ball Field Fence Repair & Rework (In Progress) - This important safety project was specifically requested by our past 5th grade students so they can safely use the field during the school year. What was previously a safety hazard is now a secure, usable space for student recreation and PE activities!

💰 Investment Breakdown

Here's exactly how PTA dollars were invested in these improvements:

• ✅ Protective Umbrellas for Lunch Tables: $750.38
• ✅ 2 ADA-Compliant Picnic Tables: $1,777.50
• ✅ 7 New Picnic Tables: $1,259.93
• ✅ 2 Buddy Benches: $2,084.79
• ✅ Ball Field Fence Repair: $3,324.00
• ✅ Stage Repair (railings & steps): $3,200.00

Current Total Investment: $12,396.60!
